Cancellation conditions

For reservations made by mail, telephone or online, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with Article L121-20-4 of the Consumer Code relating in particular to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency. Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter. Normally, according to Article 1590 of the Civil Code, if the tenant cancels, the deposit remains acquired by the Landlord.

However, AT OUR PLACE:

If the Tenant cancels more than 60 days before the start of the stay: the lessor will reimburse 100% of the deposit

If the Tenant cancels between 59 and 30 days before the start of the stay: the lessor will retain 50% of the deposit paid at the time of booking. This deposit will be valid for a future stay within one year of the initial arrival date. If the property can be re-let for the same period, the refund will be 100% of the deposit.

If the tenant cancels between the 29th and 8th day prior to arrival, the deposit paid at the time of booking will be retained by the owner. It will be used for a future stay within one year of the initial arrival date. If the property can be re-let for the same period, the lessor will refund 100% of the deposit.

If the tenant cancels between 7 days and the day before the stay, the deposit paid when booking remains with the owner.

In the event of non-appearance by the Lessee, no refund will be made.

In the event of early termination of the stay by the Tenant, not falling under the circumstances of force majeure, no refund will be made. Force majeure is recognized if the Tenant can provide evidence of serious reasons making it impossible to fully complete the rental. In this case, the owner may refund the amounts already paid, corresponding to the pro rata duration of the uncompleted occupancy, and upon presentation of supporting documents.

CANCELLATION DUE TO THE LESSOR The Lessor will reimburse the Lessee double the amount of the deposit received except in cases of force majeure.

For reservations made via the websites of booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Abritel, etc., cancellation must be made via these sites. The cancellation conditions that apply are then specific to these platforms and may therefore be different from those of Gîtes Les Nogalies. The Lessor recommends that the Lessee take out "cancellation" insurance and check that your Civil Liability insurance includes Holiday Insurance.
